Our film fundraiser on Fri 4th Dec 2016, held at Stockade Training Centre, went off with a bang. We had a great turn out and a great night, featuring sparring from local Canberra boxers and kickboxers, and of course the main event, between our own Bianca ‘Bam Bam Elmir’against former ACT, Australian and South Pacific WKA champion, and WMC pro Australian title holder, Gaz ‘Chopper’ Rees. We also had a surprise performance from some Lebanese belly dancers, Laura Auon and Alli Jury Gereige, who bedazzled the crowd. A huge thanks to our sponsors for the night, Sting Sports, Chopper Muay Thai, Stockade Training Centre and Bianca ‘Bam Bam’ Elmir. It was a great night, with a release of our film’s teaser and our crowdfunding campaign, where we are hoping to raise enough money to get our crew to Bulgaria in February 2016, to follow Bianca in the 67th Strandja Cup in Sofia, the oldest international amateur boxing competition in Europe.
