We are here in Astana Kazakhstan at the Barus Arena for the AIBA Women’s World Championships, where Bianca is representing Australia in the 54kg weight division. Our film crew has gone along to cover Bianca’s progress and, we are really excited to be able to bring you updates about all of her fights.

We met with Bianca in her hotel the night before her first fight, to talk about her thoughts, feelings and preparation for the big event. This is Bianca’s first world championships, after being stripped of her opportunity to compete at the 2012 championships following a 12 month drug ban. She is feeling strong, and in a good position to progress through, with her first fight against India’s Zareen Nikhat, on 20th May 2016.
